In light of recent events and a rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19, Mentora College of Business & Technology will be closing for the week of March 16 to the 20th. The campus will not be accessible. This applies to all planned activities, orientations and trips. Although there are no confirmed cases at our school, our top priority is the safety and well-being of our students, staff and community. It is only by being proactive and adhering to the instructions of the Canadian Government that we have a better chance of slowing and ultimately stopping the spread of the virus.
We will resume classes in an online format on Monday, March 23rd, and will be sending instructions/updates throughout the week to staff and students. Administrative staff will work remotely and will still be available for student support through the regular email/phone channels. Physical classes are set to resume on March 30th (unless otherwise noted).
All international travellers, including international students, arriving in Canada are now being asked to self-isolate for 14 days as a precautionary measure.
This will certainly interrupt the start of courses on arrival in Toronto and booked accommodation (homestay and residences) may not be suitable for self-isolation. Therefore, we are recommending that students scheduled to arrive in the next 30 days, reschedule their studies to a future date.
For students who have any questions or concerns, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 647 916 9610.
If you need to be tested for COVID-19, please visit one of the testing centres set up around the GTA. For more information on the Coronavirus, please refer to the following Public Health & Government resources:
